Creek Engine Oil SAE 10W40 API SL
DESCRIPTION
Creek SAE 10W-40 API SL is an advanced full synthetic motor engine oil designed to deliver outstanding engine protection to keep your engine running like new and protect critical engine parts. Moreover, it meets or exceeds the industry’s toughest standards and outperforms our conventional and synthetic blend oils. What do the numbers in 10W-40 mean? The numbers refer to the weight and thickness, or viscosity, of the oil. Motor oil gets thicker when it’s cold and thinner when it heats up. The first number indicates the viscosity of the oil at a cold temperature, and the second number indicates the viscosity at operating temperatures. The main difference between Creek 10W40 and Creek 5W40 is that one is thicker than the other. The 10W40 is thicker than the 5W40 at lower temperatures. But when the temperature is higher, both motor oils similarly perform their intended functions. As a result, it is perfect for all types of driving and has the performance to protect when conventional engine oils often may not.
APPLICATION
Creek SAE 10W-40 is made with a proprietary blend of high performance synthetic base stocks fortified with a precisely balanced additive component system. It is designed to provide outstanding overall engine protection to keep your engine running like new, while meeting or exceeding the latest industry performance standards. As a result, it keeps your engine running like new and cleans up sludge left behind in the engine. Applications vary from heave duty diesel engines using low sulfur diesel fuels, to naturally aspirated and turbo-charged diesel powered equipment, and on-highway short-haul and long-haul trucks and buses.
ADVANTAGES
-Outstanding thermal and oxidation stability
